As time went by and opportunities presented John pursued trout across the globe, from the Western American rivers, creeks and high altitude lakes to the rivers and streams of Labrador, New Zealand and Europe. Some of his escapades and fish have been chronicled in the Orvis News and American Angler Magazine. Bright sunny day fly fishing in southern Vermont. We managed to get a dozen or so trout to eat and a five to net (2 long line releases but we had a quality dance). &nbsp;All sub-surface today given the late start but still fun. Some thick fish - all rainbows and browns in the 16-18" range.
