NOTES

Quality Winter Brown on Battenkill River

Battenkill River

The sun was out and air temps reached 40 degrees. I couldn't stand it so wadered-up and headed to the Battenkill river to swing some large streamers for big browns looking for a late winter snack. I found fish in their winter holding water and was able to bring this big boy to hand after a good tussle. First Battenkill River brown of 2024 - just over 23" not a bad start to the year!

Gear & Tackle Used:

Orvis Helios Rod, 250 grain sinking line, 5 feet of 2x tippit ans large streamer.
